sleep paralysis

Just had sleep paralysis a couple a days ago for the first time in my life, it was the most terrifying thing I ever experienced.
This painting really captured the mood very well. Completely hopeless, you drown in the most dark atmosphere while you know something really bad is going to happen, but it is too blur to see who or what is coming for you and you can't run away, because you can't move, or even hardly breath.
I think it is so weird that almost everybody tells the same story...while normal dreams or nightmares are so different for each individual...Almost makes you think it isn't your mind playing tricks on you...but there might be something else...
